A not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) Corporation, governed, managed and staffed primarily by and for people
with disabilities to promote and support the rights and independence of people with disabilities
and empower them to achieve a life of independence and equality.
Any person who has a disability that significantly
interferes with life activity.
We promote self-help, self-advocacy and self-determination through our commitment to empowerment.
We promote community integration.
LINK, Inc. is a Center for Independent Living providing five core services (Information and Referral, Skills Training, Peer Support, Advocacy and Deinstitutionalization) to anyone who has a disability.
Over half of the individuals that work for LINK or are on the Board of Directors for the organization have a disability. LINK works to help individuals enjoy greater access to their home communities and to promote integration as a productive and contributory member of society.
The strength of our programs is in the people...individuals with a disability and their families and friends.
LINK has been providing services to western Kansas communities for over 30 years and provides a main office located in Hays and four satellite locations in Hill City,
Colby, Great Bend, and Liberal. This allows for services to be available throughout Western Kansas.
