FERN
The Friends Emergency Response Network was named after a previous Board member who made it a point to keep people informed on bad weather and know what to do in that situation. This program was named in remembrance of her and the tremendous dedication she had for safety.
This program is designed to create a network to connect individuals in an
emergency or natural disaster situation. This opportunity is available to all consumers in the 22 western Kansas areas
as well as in southwest Kansas, where we have an office location. A test is run each month to make
sure that all individuals in the program are prepared in a time when such an emergency or disaster occur.
LINK has a dedicated staff member, Linda Brewer, that works on and sets up this program.
If you are interested in being a part of the FERN program, please call 785-625-6942 or 1-800-569-5926 to be a part of this program. This is your chance to make
a difference in the lives of others and your own in an emergency situation.
